Banana Boat Suncare Summer Promo Supports Easterseals Southern California
30 SoCal CVS Pharmacy Stores to Host Promo in August

Banana Boat Suncare and CVS Pharmacy drugstores, have launched a summer promotion benefitting Easterseals Southern California (ESSC), which assists more than 14,000 people with disabilities in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Imperial, Kern, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura counties.
Featured from now until August 31 in 30 CVS drugstores across SoCal, Banana Boat Suncare will donate 50 cents to ESSC for each Sport SPF 30 or SPF 50+ sunscreen lotion or spray purchased.
Participating stores are located in Anaheim, Dana Point, Del Mar, Hermosa Beach, Huntington Beach, Indian Wells, Indio, Laguna Beach, La Jolla, Los Angeles, Malibu, Marina Del Rey, Montrose, Newport Beach, Pacific Palisades, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Redondo Beach, San Diego, Santa Monica, Venice, West Hollywood and Woodland Hills. Both Banana Boat Suncare and CVS Pharmacy are longtime supporters of ESSC, partnering with the non-profit for more than 10 years on a range of fundraising initiatives, including an annual golf tournament. Their efforts will provide critical funding to support services that help people with disabilities to live, learn, work and play in our community.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 25% of U.S. residents, more than 61 million people across the country, have a disability. Of those, 23% live in California (more than 9 million), nearly 5.5 million of them in SoCal.
Banana Boat sunscreen products are recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation which urges everyone to use a broad-spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher every day and an SPF of 30 or higher for extended outdoor activity.
