What is CARF?

CARF offers you a way to identify quality care. Accreditation demonstrates a provider’s commitment to continuously improve service quality and to focus on the satisfaction of the persons served.

CARF International is an independent, accrediting body of health and human services. CARF-accredited service providers have applied CARF’s comprehensive set of standards to all aspects of their service delivery practices. This means that they conform to proven business practices and commit to continuous quality improvement. Each provider’s commitment to excellence is periodically evaluated on site and reconfirmed annually.

CARF’s leading-edge standards are developed collaboratively with involvement of professionals and consumers just like you. CARF encourages individuals with many perspectives to take part in developing these standards.
