ESSC’s ‘Celebrate. Don’t Separate’ Ad Campaign Screened During Easterseals Night with the LA Clippers

On March 18, the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team hosted “Easterseals Night” at their home game at the Staples Center against the Portland Trail Blazers. More than 200 Easterseals Southern California (ESSC) staff, board members and community supporters attended the game. Prior to tip-off, The Clippers revealed the new “Celebrate. Don’t Separate” PSA to the crowd on the Jumbotron. What’s more, ads from the groundbreaking new campaign were also displayed outside in the LA Live Complex on giant screens across the courtyard of the Microsoft Theater four times every hour on Sunday leading up to the game that night. Following the first period of the basketball game, ESSC CEO Mark Whitley and board members Mark Bertrand, Andre Filip and Nic Novicki, were introduced on the court as representatives of ESSC by a Clippers announcer to a cheering crowd. Many attendees participated in a 50/50 donation raffle at the game. At the end of the night, a lucky winner received 50% of the total pot, and ESSC received the other half, which totaled $4800. The Clippers also generously donated 200 tickets to ESSC, which were sold for $25 each. All in all, ESSC services will receive nearly $10,000 from the night!
