Meet the team of Early Intervention Specialists cover Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties

Cirella Scott

Cirella Scott joined Easterseals in Fall of 2022 as an Early Intervention Specialist. She graduated from University of Maryland with her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences. She also recently graduated from Arizona State University with a Master’s Degree in Family and Human Development. Cirella loves to work with families and watch them work hard to achieve their goals during such critical years. She has seen firsthand the benefits of early intervention for children and strives to help parents meet the needs from an early age. Cirella has known her passion of working with children from early on and continues to follow her dreams of making a difference in the lives of children and families. After recently relocating to South Carolina, she worked for Berkeley County School District/Berkeley County First Steps as a Parent Educator/Home Visitor. Cirella is married to her husband of 12 years (together 16) and has three amazing children. On her off time, she enjoys traveling, relaxing at the beach, spending time with her family, reading, working out and hiking.

Sarah Burnett

Originally from Lexington, South Carolina, Sarah pursued her Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of South Carolina where she focused in Psychology and worked in a private daycare setting for four years. She then obtained her Master's degree in Developmental Psychology from Liberty University before working as a tutor specialist for children with educational and developmental delays. She currently lives in the Charleston area with her husband and two children. Sarah enjoys time with family, exploring new places, and being a lifelong learner! She is excited to be working for such a great organization and serving families in her own community!

Nadia Goodwine

N. Goodwine

Nadia Goodwine was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She obtained her degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies in May 2022 from Winthrop University. Nadia has developed her passion for working with children through various teaching positions. Her first full-time job post-grad was as an assistant teacher for both K3 and K4. Nadia enjoys creating an inclusive learning experience for children and loves to watch them develop and grow. In her free time, Nadia enjoys spending time with loved ones, crocheting, eating, and relaxing. Nadia is thrilled to join the Easterseals team to assist and advocate for families and children locally.
