What is Walk With Me all about?

Easter Seals Walk With Me is an opportunity for anyone and everyone to make a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities in our community.

By walking—or supporting a walker in their fund-raising efforts—funds are raised that allow Easter Seals to provide services that help people learn to walk, talk and perform other skills essential to daily living; find fulfilling jobs; reach individualized goals early in life; age with dignity; and participate in camping and recreation programs.

Why am I walking?

Many of you know that I have been involved in and supported Easter Seals for many years. It's been a life-long journey that began when my Mother taught me to help people through philanthropy at a very young age (of course I chose Easter Seals), through Easter Seals speech therapy for my Brother and volunteering as a respite worker for Easter Seals, to eventually becoming a staff member in this fine organization.

Easter Seals is fiscally responsible and accredited by the Better Business Bureau as a great choice for your donations.

I am a champion for the Easter Seals mission and truly love being part of an organization making such an impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families. I am also walking so I can get more people involved in this great cause.

Why do I need your help?

I know everyone is feeling the "pinch" in this very tough economic environment. Individuals with disabilities and their families feel that "pinch" even more due to challenging medical, education, family support, and transportation needs. I need your help to raise funds that make a difference for these folks!
