Easter Seals Walk With Me is an opportunity for anyone and everyone to make a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities in our community.
Team Hannah is entering their 4th year of participation. Last year we were blessed to have Hannah of Team Hannah as an Honoary Ambassador. Though Hannah has moved on and is no longer in Easter Seals School it still lies close to our family's heart. We honor Easter Seals by participating in the walk, and thank them for all they have done for our Hannah. One of our captains, Hannahs Daddy is in Iraq this year with the Army, but we have still choosen to walk, a man short but on we go.
By walking—or supporting a walker in their fund-raising efforts—funds are raised that allow Easter Seals to provide services that help people learn to walk, talk and perform other skills essential to daily living; find fulfilling jobs; reach individualized goals early in life; age with dignity; and participate in camping and recreation programs.
