Can you believe this is our 5th year to participate in Rollin’ on the River!!
As most of you probably know, the reason we are so passionate about Easter Seals is because our daughter Ramsey used to attend Easter Seals Preschool where she received speech and occupational therapy for 5 years. Every year Scott and I try to raise money to give back to Easter Seals for all of the many wonderful things they do for my child and many other children everyday.
Thanks to the great head start given to Ramsey by Easter Seals, last year she was able to attend 2nd Grade in a regular classroom. The BIG NEWS this year is that the school year was so successful (reading, writing, making new friends) that she is now moving on to the third grade with all of her peers…bring on multiplication!! She is gaining scholastic confidence every year because of all of her HARD work in school, grace of God, and the wonderful foundation that was built for her at Easter Seals.
There are NO words that can express out gratitude to this organization, so the only way that we know to show them is to put the “money where the mouth is”. Ramsey's Racers will be once again making a grand showing with a team to run or walk in the Easter Seals 5K/2K on September 12th at 8:30 am. It is GREAT family fun!!!
