Rachel Talen is Easter Seals’ Public Relations Manager. Since starting as an intern for the Marketing & Corporate Relations department in 2009, she’s been involved in everything media. While most of her time is spent tracking media coverage, pitching reporters, copy writing and creating marketing materials around the Make the First Five Count® campaign, Rachel also works closely with The Avril Lavigne Foundation, helps develops social media content and mentors Easter Seals' college interns. 

Rachel attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she received a B.A. in Business Communications. Outside of the office, Rachel is a Chicago lover, writer, volunteer, runner and social media junkie.
