SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES
Provide one to one support to an adult living in their own home. Plans and conducts daily activities to facilitate individual learning experiences to assist in the development of living skills consistent with the participant's objectives identified in the Individual Service Plan (ISP)/Individual Program Plan (IPP) and with the program design.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts daily activities to assist the development of living skills consistent with the program participant's goals and objectives.
- Plans and prepares a weekly schedule of activities providing living skills and learning experiences according to ISP and IPP goals and objectives.
- Provides assistance with personal care for participants which may include feeding, grooming and toileting.Assists in participant assessments, planning and evaluation processes.
- Attends ISP/IPP meetings. Assists participant in the development and implementation of his/her Service Plan.
- Maintains all assigned documentation and data regarding program participants including ID/case notes.
- May be required to transport program participants depending on program design and location
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 months plus related experience working with individuals in a health care or social service setting Eligible to pass a class-1 fingerprint clearance Valid AZ drivers license
- Clear motor vehicle record
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repetitively.

POSITION SUMMARY

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communications, organization and project management skills; ability to handle projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong technical ability and familiarity with software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with technologies including but not limited to Flash, Java, J2EE, Servlets, EJBs, JSP, HTML/XHTML, HTTP, CSS, JavaScript, PL/SQL, SQL SERVER 2000, RDBMS, JMS, SSL
- Ability to build technical business cases and justify technical decisions
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Proven ability to stay abreast the latest web technologies being utilized in the field and with similar nonprofits
- Basic understanding of Government contracting and working relationships
- Project Management certification is preferred although not required
EDUCATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Minimum five years of progressive experience in computing project management, including experience with Internet technology, web development and social networking new media tools
- Significant experience with technical project management and vendor management
- Experience leading web-based software development initiatives
- Experience evaluating and managing vendor relationships

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Autism Services Manager is responsible for development, implementation and supervision of behavioral programs for children with autism or related disabilities. The Autism Services Manager is a member of the Autism Services team which includes ABA services, P.L.A.Y. Project services, diagnostic evaluations, and Pre and Post Intensive services.
- You will receive extensive paid training in the Greenspan/DIR based P.L.A.Y Project as well as a substantial sign on bonus. If the candidate does not already have, we would support them in receiving B.C.B.A (Board Certified Behavioral Analyst) Certification.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified psychotherapy provider, legally authorized to perform psychotherapy, with either a master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences who has at least 400 hours of training or supervised experience in the use of behaviorally based therapy models consistent with best practice and research on effectiveness for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders who meet all criteria to receive this service; in addition to, or as part of their 3000 hours of training/supervision; OR
- A bachelor's degree in a human services discipline and at least 2,000 hours of training or supervised experience in the use of behaviorally based therapy models consistent with best practice and research on effectiveness for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders who meet all criteria to receive this service.
- Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) preferred.
- A minimum of two years proven successful experience in implementing, designing and overseeing behavior analysis services for individuals with autism.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must have proof of insurance meeting the requirements of the Driver Agreement form.
