Easter Seals Central and Southeast Ohio is currently accepting applications for a part time Speech-Language Pathologist to fulfill contract work in Fairfield County, Ohio. Typical working hours will be 8:30-3:30 working up to 30 hours per week. PURPOSE
To provide quality therapy and case management services to clients through a school system contract.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Client evaluation, plan of care development and establishment of goals. Implement therapy, provide home programs as indicated and modify plan as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain necessary records and reports (including but not limited to evaluation summaries, plan of care, monthly summaries, daily documentation and discharge summaries).
- Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team working with other staff members to coordinate services and provide carryover of goal areas. Act as case manager for those assigned to caseload. Attend and participate in IEP process.
- Provide consultative services with other staff members, families, outside agencies and significant others involved in client care. Serve as a resource person for staff regarding speech language pathology matters. Attend and participate in required staff meeting.
- Develop materials needed by each client for treatment session and/or home use.
- Work with classroom staff to meet speech needs on students' IEP.
- Supervise affiliating students and volunteers as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an ASHA accredited program, current Texas license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence, at least one year's experience, preferably in pediatrics

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate and treat individuals with disabilities, primarily age birth to three.
- Develop and reassess individual treatment plans and provide necessary documentation of treatment and progress.
- Work with the families of children with disabilities, by providing home programs to assist in the carryover of treatment.
- Participates in multi-disciplinary meetings to develop Individual Family Service Plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited Master's Degree Program in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology.
- Current, valid State of Wisconsin license in Speech Language Pathology.
