Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania's Philadelphia Division is looking for a Transportation Coordinator for our Approved Private School and Early Intervention programs in the Wynnefield Heights section of Philadelphia.

Basic Responsibilities:

For more than 70 years, Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania has been helping people with disabilities gain greater independence. Our mission is to provide exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. We strive to hire those who are passionate about the pediatric special needs population, have good communications skills, enjoy a team environment  and  want to make a difference in the lives of those they assist. The Transportation Coordinator responsibilities include coordinating and managing the operations related to client transportation including but not limited to the supervision of school drivers and school bus attendants, handling fleet inventory management and maintenance, scheduling, vehicle dispatching and recordkeeping. Substitute Bus Driver responsibilities may be required on rare occasions.


Current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) and School Bus Driver’s Certificate required. 

School Bus driving experience required.

Bus maintenance knowledge preferred.

Strong organizational skills, professional  oral and written communications skills, and positive interpersonal skills required.

Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Ability to lift 60 pounds in the event of an emergency will be required.

Applicants are required to pass Easterseals and Philadelphia School District required clearances, pre-employment drug testing and alcohol screening.
