For Chapter 31 Veterans

Our goal for veterans is to achieve a high level of personal stability by strengthening family, spiritual and community ties that will result in active and productive citizens.  The following are an array of services provided to Chapter 31 Veterans:

  • Problem solving skills

  • Assertiveness/communication training
  • Stress management/coping skills
  • Understanding and acceptance of disabilities

  • Conflict management
  • Curriculum tailored to individual needs
  • Staffings held that provide essential feedback and progress reports
  • Job development skills, job exploration, placement and follow-up services/identifying necessary skills for the workplace

We can tailor services to meet individual needs and goals of veterans with physical, mental, and/or behavioral disabilities, to include a healthy transition to civilian life.  Whether the goal is employment, training, independent living or improved life satisfaction, New Beginnings can help veterans achieve their goals.
