Special Event Intern
The Special Event Intern is responsible for assisting the Events Manager in planning, coordinating and executing several special events that will take place during the course of the year. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: event planning and logistics, coordinating invitations and mailing lists, organizing merchandise, auction items and managing rsvp lists. This position is fast paced and a lot of fun! If you are flexible, outgoing, organized and able to multi-task, this position is for you!

Time Required: At least 8 hours per week for one semester or summer.

Experience you will gain: project and event planning, data base management, fundraising, coordinating sponsorships and working with volunteers.

Special Incentives: Credit hours and letter of recommendation after completion of internship.  

Development Intern
The Development Intern is responsible for assisting the Director of Development by researching grant and funding opportunities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: on-line research, preparing documents and grant applications for submission, compiling info for mailing list and data entry. Position requires a minimum of 4 hours per week. Schedule is flexible and most of the research can be done from home.

Time Required: At least 8 hours per week for one semester or summer.

Experience you will gain: project coordination, fundraising, grant writing and communications. This is great experience to take with you into the professional workplace.
