Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

If you are 55+ and looking for work, Easterseals SCSEP program staff are here to get you ready to re-enter the workforce. As a mature worker, you have a wealth of experience you can offer any employer. Our job coaches provide you with the training and support you need to succeed in a modern workforce.

  • Vocational assessments
  • Relationship management
  • Accessibility technology assistance
  • Skill training
  • Goal setting
  • Certification support
  • Job placement


Participants may earn certifications/licenses required to participate in certain types of work, such as a Commercial Driving License (CDL), home health aide certification, Microsoft computer certifications, Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) licenses, and more.

Population Served/Admission Requirements

Eligible participants must be 55 years or older, reside in the county where services are provided, have a family income no more than 125% of the federal poverty income, and be currently unemployed.
