WHAT: You are invited to join us for the official ribbon cutting of the newly-renovated and expanded Easterseals NH Oral Health Center in Manchester, NH sponsored by Northeast Delta Dental. The Oral Health Center, which first opened its doors in 2009 to provide a dental home to children and adults, recently completed a massive renovation that is part of a full facility renovation at Easterseals NH. Northeast Delta Dental, which has supported the Oral Health Center since the beginning, gave a generous gift of $200,000 to spearhead the renovation.

In addition to expanding capacity at the Easterseals NH Oral Health Center from three patient chairs to five, the physical space will be larger, and more private. Last year the center provided 3,100 dental treatments to 1,700 children, adults, and seniors. As one of the few dental centers in the state that accepts Medicaid, the renovations have increased our capacity to serve indigent and low income families and individuals as well as the general public. The renovation will allow the center to serve an additional 800 patients a year.

Easterseals NH has a long and well-respected 80-year history in the Granite State of helping people of all ages with disabilities and special needs. In the past eight decades, we have expanded services to fill unmet community needs and currently serve more than 26,900 people.

While it is home to a comprehensive array of programs and services, the ESNH Headquarters on Auburn Street was in need of updates and renovations in order to most effectively and efficiently serve our clients and community. In addition to the Oral Health Center's expansion, the building's overall renovation will specifically address:

--Consolidating Easterseals' programs under one roof at 555 Auburn Street, will maximize wrap-around services to our clients, and produce the largest facility in NH offering services to people with disabilities and special needs.

--Expanded program space means more families will receive services;

--Building security and flooding issues will be resolved;

--Heating and lighting energy efficiencies will lower operating costs.

When the renovation is completed later in 2017, Easterseals NH will offer the largest array of services under one roof for children, adults, and seniors with disabilities and special needs.
