Maureen Beauregard

President and CEO, Easterseals NH & VT

Maureen Beauregard became president and CEO of Easterseals New Hampshire and Vermont in 2019. She has since managed the organization through the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and has overseen the planning and implementation of a comprehensive strategic plan to transform the agency. Under her leadership, Easterseals NH & VT has made critical investments in staffing, business planning, and administration to meet the needs of the most vulnerable populations in the region. Her focus on integrating the organization’s many programs is improving service delivery for thousands of children, adults, seniors, and veterans.

Helping individuals and families in need has always been Beauregard’s personal and professional mission. Before joining Easterseals NH & VT, she founded Families in Transition (FIT) in Manchester to connect children and families with affordable housing. She spent 28 years as president at FIT, growing it into one of New Hampshire’s largest organizations addressing homelessness. Her commitment to affordable housing for everyone continues at Easterseals NH & VT. It includes breaking ground in 2023 on a 15-acre, $23-million Military & Veterans Campus in Franklin that will have affordable housing for veterans and recently completing an and affordable apartment community for older adults in Rochester.

Beauregard was inspired to join Easterseals by her sister, Carolyn, a child representative for the agency in the 1970s. She was elected to the Easterseals National Board of Directors in 2023.

Beauregard has received numerous awards throughout her career, including the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year, Southern New Hampshire University’s Loeffler Award, and the University of New Hampshire’s Granite State Award. Under her leadership, Families in Transition was named Business NH Magazine’s 2013 Nonprofit of the Year.
