Wellness Commitment Statement

Easterseals is committed to providing a culture of wellness for our employees that offers a tobacco free environment, healthy food at meetings, access to wellness during your work day, wellness education, and fitness opportunities on an on-going basis. Our employees are our greatest asset and we believe to continue to provide the amazing services that we do, we need to invest in the wellness of our employees and their families every day.

Who is eligible?

All staff even if you do not participate in the agency’s health benefits.

  1. Complete the Wellness Pledge/Registration Form (PDF)
  2. Complete 2 WellFit Challenges Additional prized may be awarded for completion of the program. See below for more information. 
  3. Complete 4 Wellness Education Units A wellness education unit is any wellness class, that is at least 30 minutes in length that provides an education opportunity to the employee or spouse. The wellness initiative is committed to providing on-site and off-site opportunities throughout the year, see our partnership listing of classes on the ES wellness page. See below for more information. 
  4. Complete 2 Exercise Units An exercise unit consists of at least 10 sessions of 30+ minutes of physical activity per month for 2 consecutive months.

Wellness Coaching

Easterseals offers wellness coaching to all staff at no cost. Wellness Coaching is similar to Life Coaching except that it deals with issues for and about your body, your overall health and general well-being. If you want to be healthier, and are committed to making some major lifestyle changes to get there, contact the wellness office to hear more about the wellness coaching opportunities available to you.  Wellness coaching is for all employees, even those that do not participate in the benefits. Wellness Coaching Options

Christy Nault, Certified Wellness Coach
Hours are flexible and can occur in person, over the phone or via e-mail following the initial intake appointment that must be done in person which takes 45 minutes. Coaching sessions take 20-30 minutes and can happen weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly or on an as needed basis based on the goals that have been designed between the coachee and coach. To begin, please complete the Wellness Intake Form an send it to cnault@eastersealsnh.org. Someone from the Wellness Office will be in touch to schedule your intake appointment.

The Scott Lawson Group of Certified Wellness Professionals
Telephonic coaching services with appointments lasting 15-20 minutes with a max of 3 sessions following the initial intake. Click here to fill out the secure self-referral intake form. A coach will then be in touch to schedule your intake appointment.

Weight Loss Reimbursement

Easterseals will reimburse an employee for weight loss expenses if they are working with a registered weight loss program.  To qualify for the reimbursement the program must work with a balanced nutrition plan, real foods, portion control, and behavior change. Pop Challenges

Participate in the monthly Pop Challenges and you and or your spouse can be entered into a drawing for an Easterseals Wellness Pack.

Tobacco Cessation Program

Easterseals will reimburse up to $250 per employee who quits tobacco use. (PDF)

Wellness Education Units

Wellness Room

The Wellness Room located at the John A. Samenfeld Center (555 Auburn Street, Manchester) is open 6:45am-6:30pm with proper key card access. To obtain an key card please email Christy Nault to arrange a time. The Wellness Room features cardio and strength training equipment, workout video library, and private showers and bathroom. The Wellness Room is available for use throughout the day, as long as classes aren't being held.
