Much of who we become is the result of our experiences within the first three years of life. Early Supports & Services utilizes each child’s natural curiosity to create the experiences that enhance growth and development in partnership with their families.
Since 1975, Easter Seals NH has worked in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop. We provide services in natural environments, which include the home, relative's home, childcare center or home childcare, play groups, etc.
Fully-licensed, credentialed and caring pediatric professionals provide expertise in these areas:
Children from birth to three years are determied to be eligible for Early Supports & Services (ESS) according to federal and state criteria. An ESS team will provide a Developmental Evaluation to determine your child's eligibility according to federal and state guidelines. Following the evaulation, the parents and the ESS team will develop an Individual Family Support Plan (IFSP) which includes family and child outcomes and strategies. Services will be initiated by the appropriate professional.
Services are funded by private insurance, Medicaid and state and federal funding. Currently there is no out of pocket expense to the family, including those who do not have insurance.
“Without the support we’ve received from Easter Seals, I wouldn’t have known where to begin. Lilly would not be where she is today without Early Intervention. It has made such an impact on her life.” —Renee, Lilly’s Mom
