Anthem Partners with Easterseals Arc

Program will provide care coordination to eligible Anthem members with autism

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield has partnered with Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana to provide support to area Anthem members with autism spectrum disorder and their families.

The Autism Family Supports Program serves Anthem members enrolled in Hoosier Healthwise, Healthy Indiana, and Hoosier Care Connect plans. The program is designed to provide enhanced care coordination for children and school-age youths with autism.

“Coping with health care providers, therapies, medications, schools, and insurance can be overwhelming for families,” said Donna Elbrecht, CEO/president of Easterseals Arc. “This care coordination program provides a helping hand to improve communication throughout the care team and ensure that families get the services and supports they need.”
