Tod Marvin
Chief Executive Officer
Easter Seals Central Texas

Tod MarvinTod Marvin is the Chief Executive Officer at Easter Seals in Central Texas. He highly values creating opportunities for kids with disabilities, so that they can pursue their hopes and dreams at any stage of their life. He also loves to see the excitement that each parent feels as they begin to see their child thrive and make progress.

One thing that Marvin finds unique about Easter Seals Central Texas, is that it is the only non-profit in the area that provides sliding fee scale services, which allow them to provide help and hope to any child who asks for it.

Marvin tells the story about a young man with a severe disability who uses a wheelchair and has been coming to Easter Seals for nearly his whole life. Today, he is one of the top students in his high school, is an Eagle Scout, and he aspires to be a motivational speaker someday so that he can talk about how he overcame barriers with the help of Easter Seals. He wants to inspire others through his story.

Many of the families that come to Easter Seals Central Texas are with intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and autism. Marvin wishes that more people knew about the services that Easter Seals can provide to young children.

Marvin received his degree from Tennessee Temple University and his Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. He has worked at Easter Seals for 5 months, but has been in the nonprofit sector for 20 years. Prior to Easter Seals, Tod worked for the American Heart Association, the Blood Center of Wisconsin, and the American Red Cross National Headquarters.
