The Medical Billing Specialist will: Administer Easter Seals’ internal system of funding, authorization, benefit pre-certification, billing, electronic and other claim submissions and maintain source documents; Serve as the agency’s primary communicator with patient families, service providers and funding sources; Negotiate and administer the agency’s managed care contracts and other third party payers; Prepare and post patient related transactions; and be responsible for collection of patient accounts.
