The Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center announced the results of the annual Easter Seals “Cool Car, Cold Cash” Contest sponsored by Old National Bank in the gym at the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center, 3701 Bellemeade Ave. in Evansville, at noon Thursday, August 7, 2014.

A total of 3,225 tickets were included in the drawing. Tickets were sold from May 29 until just before the drawing.  Tickets were $50 each OR 3 tickets for $100.  This resulted in estimated net proceeds of $99,226 (Including today’s results, the annual raffle has now raised a grand total of $1,018,015 since 2000.)

All funds raised will underwrite physical, occupational, and speech therapy sessions for local children and adults with disabilities who couldn’t otherwise afford services at the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center.

Prior to the drawing, attendees heard about Easter Seals’ life-changing therapy services from local Easter Seals Representatives Hope McDowell of Evansville and Christy Rolley of Newburgh. Hope, age 8, also drew the three lucky raffle tickets. Accountants from Kemper CPA Group supervised the drawing.

The Cool Car, Cold Cash contest is sponsored by Old National Bank, D-Patrick Nissan, Evansville Courier & Press, HOT 96, Kemper CPA Group,  Local 7 WTVW & WEHT Local.
