The Easter Seals Iowa Admiral’s White Party and Sunnyside Regatta brought together businesses in the metro area to raise funds for Easter Seals Iowa. The two events raised more than $520,000 to support the Easter Seals Iowa mission to provide services to people with disabilities, including the restoration of the indoor pool at Camp Sunnyside. The $1.7 million pool renovation project will begin in September with plans to have the new pool open by the 2017 summer camp season.

"We are so appreciative of the support of the community and our presenting sponsors McAninch Corporation and Fareway Stores, Inc. Without their support our mission would not be possible,” says President/CEO of Easter Seals Iowa Sherri Nielsen.

The Sunnyside Regatta was held July 21 at Easter Seals Iowa Camp Sunnyside, 401 NE 66th Ave. in Des Moines. CEO of Fareway Stores, Inc. Reynolds W. Cramer served as the 2016 Sunnyside Regatta Admiral. The Easter Seals Iowa Admiral’s White Party was held July 19 at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden.
