Human Resources

Senior Human Resources Manager

Honolulu, Oahu (FT)

The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for all administrative and operational aspects of Human Resources, aligning organizational/business objectives with management and employees in multiple programs/areas. They will be involved in every aspect of human resources and oversee the day to day operations, including though not limited to: Full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, HR Policies and Procedures, employee relations, performance management, benefits, compliance, personnel records, payroll, Student Practicum Program, Internships, and Volunteers. This Manager serves as a consultant and partner to ESH management at all levels within (ESH) Easter Seals Hawaii to assist in professional development to strengthen the skills and abilities of those serving our families, participants, clients and communities. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, expertise in employee relations, is comfortable with a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and exhibits passion for the ESH mission and values. S/he assesses and anticipates HR related needs, seeks to develop and deliver integrated solutions, and communicates proactively with all Programs/Departments. Travels to various program offices/facilities statewide for on-site support is required. Master’s Degree Preferred; Minimum B.S. Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field. SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) preferred.

Five (5) or more years’ experience in human resources management, three (3) years of which must have been in a responsible employee relations position. Three (3) or more years of which must have been in a supervisory position; or an equivalent combination of related training and experience. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals in a fast paced, dynamic environment.



PROGRAMS


Autism Services

Registered/Behavior Technician/Therapist

Honolulu, Oahu (FT)

Provides direct intervention services to children diagnosed with Autism and other related developmental disabilities. Position is under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor/Behavior Analyst. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field; training in behavioral supports; six months to one-year experience working directly with children/adolescents with Autism in an ABA program and in a structured setting. Determination of position will depend on the level of training, proficiency and program experience with specific teaching procedures of ITT and NET. Able to drive to clients’ homes, schools and provide service in the community as needed. RBT certification preferred.



Clinical Supervisor/Behavior Analyst, BCBA

Honolulu, Oahu (FT)

This position provides services and clinical support for children and adolescents, diagnosed with ASD and other related developmental disabilities within a center-based clinic, school, home and/or community setting for clients ages 2-21. Responsible for supervision of behavior therapist level personnel; performing assessments and intakes and support of various activities requiring knowledge in behavior analysis. Requires a Master’s or Doctorate degree in related field; at least two years of BCBA certification; 5 years’ experience in the field of Behavior Analysis, and two years supervision of at least 10 behavior therapists/technicians/tutors.



Early Intervention

Occupational Therapist

Honolulu, Oahu (PT)
Kauai (PT)

This position provides occupational therapy services to children from 0 to 3 years old with special needs. Experience working with children in the field of early intervention preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required and must be a registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) by the American Occupational Therapy Association.



Speech-Language Pathologist

Hilo (FT)
Kailua (PT)
Kauai (FT)

Provides speech language therapy services, apply principles and practices to children with special needs, and promote optimum speech language development. Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent and license to provide speech language therapy in Hawaii required.  Experience working with children with special needs in the field of Early Intervention preferred.



Social Worker/ Care Coordinator

Oahu (FT)
Kapolei (FT)
Hilo (FT)

This position provides care coordination and social work services for infants and toddlers with special needs and their families who are referred to us. Experience working with families who have children with special needs preferred. Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required. State of Hawaii licensure or eligible to be licensed in Hawaii is required. Driver's license and own personal vehicle also required.



Special Education Teacher

Hilo(FT)
Kauai (FT)

This position is responsible to assist with the planning and implementation of a scheduled developmentally and educationally appropriate program of activities for children with special needs in a transdisciplinary model of service delivery, promoting optimum development. This position is under the direct supervision of the Early Intervention Program Manager. Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education required. One year minimum experience working as a special educator and experience working with children with special needs in the field of early intervention strongly preferred.



Administrative Assistant

Kapolei, Oahu (FT)

Responsible for providing administrative support for the Kapolei EI Program Manager and Program, including assisting with reports, data collection and general administrative tasks for the Program. Prepares and submits invoices/payment processing; Serves as back-p for Data Clerk. Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office Programs, such as excel, word, and access. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; valid driver’s license, insurable driving record. Successful experience managing multiple projects. Minimum of High School Diploma, with preference of two year degree. Minimum of one year administrative experience.



Home & Community Based Services

Case Coordinator

Honolulu, Oahu (FT)

This position supervises Community Based Providers and/or Program Assistants, as well as maintains a caseload of participants in Adult Day Health program and support services for 15-20 participants. Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of experience working with DD population required. This position also requires a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.



Program Assistant

Maui (FT)

Provides personal assistance and care to adults with disabilities including activities of daily living in the Adult Day Health Program. HS diploma or equivalent is required. Experience with DD population is preferred.



Community Based Providers

Honolulu, Oahu (PT/FT)
East Hawaii Island (PT/FT)
Kauai(PT/FT)
Maui (PT/FT)

These positions provide assistance and coaching to individuals with developmental disabilities to meet goals and outcomes that increase their independence, develop natural supports and friendships, and contribute to society. Positions will also coach individuals in a variety of goals, including socialization, communication, and money management. A High School diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a minimum of 24 hours’ experience working with DD population, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel to various parts of the island.



Employment Associate

Maui (PT)

Responsible to work directly with job seekers to develop employment opportunities through evaluation and training, job development, onsite job coaching, and employer support. Documentation of progress and report writing required. High school diploma, CPR/First Aid certification, valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
