The Help Desk Support position will provide the first line of support for technical problems within ESH information systems. Duties include designs, documents, analyzes, test and modifies computer systems based on user or system specifications; system analysis techniques and procedures including consulting with user to determine hardware and software requirements; provide on-site and remote technical support to include emergency on-call support as needed; assists in the organization and inventory of all technology resources; troubleshoots and repairs PCs including network equipment (modems, switches, routers, wireless access points); and prepares new ITS equipment for deployment.
Requires use of own personal insured vehicle, ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move computer equipment as needed. Also requires a willingness to work after hours for operations that require server downtime that cannot be performed during regular work hours. High School Diploma and at least two (2) years of experience required. AAIT Degree preferred.
This position provides administrative and project support in the HR Department. This includes filing, creating and maintaining employee files; administrative support in areas to include recruitment, new hire and onboarding processes, volunteer/internship program, and support of benefits administration. Requires a minimum of two-year degree with Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field preferred; minimum of 2 years administrative or general office experience with 1 year experience in human resources preferred. Must be highly organized, detail-orientated, willingness to work as a team; and proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and familiar using Adobe preferred.
This position is responsible for organization-wide full-cycle recruitment. Responsible for the organization, set-up and maintenance of personnel files and records; works with the VP of Human Resources and the HR Team in the implementation and monitoring of HR Policies and Procedures; responsible for the administration of the Volunteer, Internship, and Student Practicum Programs; responsible for management reporting and analysis; special projects and ensuring compliance with State and Federal Employment Laws. Responsible for the working with the VP of HR, the Safety and Quality Assurance Manager and the HR Team in coordination with Program Directors/Managers of timely and accurate responses to audit requests. Partners with VP of Human Resources and Program Managers on day-to-day employee relations. Requires attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects, excellent communication skills, proficient with Microsoft word, excel, power point, and outlook. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources; five (5) years progressive experience in the field of HR to include HR Generalist responsibilities; prefer minimum of (3) three years of supervisory experience. HR certification preferred.
The Easter Seals Hawaii ABA/VB/AUT program is a unique opportunity to work in a structured ABA/VB-based clinic. The program is currently hiring for the position of Behavior Technician/Therapist. These positions provide direct intervention services to children diagnosed with Autism and other related developmental disabilities. Position is under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor/Behavior Analyst. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field; training in behavioral supports; six (6) months to one (1) year of experience working directly with children/adolescents with Autism in an ABA program and in a structured setting. Determination of position will depend on the level of training, proficiency and program experience with specific teaching procedures of ITT and NET. Candidates must have valid driver’s license, no-fault auto insurance, and access to reliable vehicle and be willing to drive to clients’ homes, schools and provide services in the community with the ability to work evenings and weekends if needed.
This position provides administrative/project support for Director of Autism Services and the program staff in developing, coordinating and implementing administrative processes/procedures. Responsible for coordination of services with therapists and clients/customers; timely and effective communication with customers, clients and funders of services (including insurance carriers); coordination/facilitation of audits; program orientation for new hires; timely and accurate billing; and supporting the integration of Autism Services within Easter Seals Hawaii. Reports to Director of Autism Services. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services (or related field), experience in behavioral supports, one (1) year experience working directly with children/ adolescents with autism in an ABA program, and minimum two (2) years’ experience providing high level administrative support experience with progressive responsibilities required.
Duties include -- working knowledge of accessing community resources; assists in providing related services supporting employment outcome, provide employability skills training, network with business communities to support integration and employment outcomes, completes documentation such as reports, data collection, assessments in a timely manner, attends and participates in various internal and external agency meetings and participates in continuing education and in-service training to maintain and advance skills and techniques.
Requires a High School Diploma, current CPR/First Aid certification, possession of a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record, reliable vehicle and ability to safely transport individuals if designated as a driver. This position will work at least 35-40 hours per week. The ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends) and enjoys a variety of jobs is highly preferred.
This position provides occupational therapy services to children from 0 to 3 years old with special needs. Experience working with children in the field of early intervention preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required and must be a registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
This position provides physical therapy services and implements individualized treatment plans for program participants, including written reports and evaluations. Master's Degree and license to provide physical therapy in Hawaii required, experience in pediatrics and/or with children preferred. Driver's license and own vehicle also required.
This position provides speech-language therapy services, apply principles and practices to children with special needs, and promote optimum speech-language development. Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent and license to provide speech-language therapy in Hawaii required. CFY accepted. Experience working with children with special needs in the field of Early Intervention is preferred.
This position is responsible to assist with the planning and implementation of a scheduled developmentally and educationally appropriate program of activities for children with special needs in a transdisciplinary model of service delivery, promoting optimum development. This position is under the direct supervision of the Early Intervention Program Manager. Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education required. One year minimum experience working as a special educator and experience working with children with special needs in the field of early intervention strongly preferred.
This position provides care coordination and social work services for infants and toddlers with special needs and their families who are referred to us. Experience working with families who have children with special needs preferred. Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required. State of Hawaii licensure or eligible to be licensed in Hawaii is required. Driver's license and own personal vehicle also required.
This position provides personal care assistance and coaching to individuals with disabilities to meet goals and outcomes to increase their independence at an Adult Day Center or in the Community. Some of these goals will include but are not limited to: socialization, communication, and money management. High School Diploma or equivalent required, six (6) months experience working/ volunteering (or caring for) with the Developmentally Disabled population, valid driver's license, and ability to travel to various parts of the island.
Positions located throughout all Islands. Hours vary. Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call. Weekday & Weekend positions available.
This position supervises Community Based Providers and/or Program Assistants, as well as maintains a caseload of participants in Adult Day Health program and support services for 15-20 participants. Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of experience working with DD population required. This position also requires a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
