The Tuesday after Thanksgiving is more than just another day to eat another helping of Thanksgiving dinner leftovers. It is a time to give back- it’s #GivingTuesday

What is #GivingTuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving – November 28 this year. There’s Black Friday (shop for unique art and home decor at Inside/Out Studio), Shop Local Saturday (find architectural gems at Building Value), and Giving Tuesday (give online at www.easterseals.com/gc/give). Last year, people across the world donated a total of $177 million to their favorite nonprofits on #GivingTuesday. This holiday season consider giving by purchasing holiday goods that not only are good but that DO good.

Get involved!

Easterseals serving Greater Cincinnati is participating in #GivingTuesday, and we are counting on our supporters to help get the word out! Easterseals is good at what we do and we want to know what you’re good at! Are you good at telling jokes, cooking, smiling? See what different employees at Easterseals Serving Greater Cincinnati said!

Ask your friends to skip giving you another gift card, socks, or scented candle this holiday season, and instead ask them to make a gift in your honor at www.Easterseals.com/gc/give on Giving Tuesday.

Thank you for being so unselfishly generous! On behalf of everyone here at Easterseals Serving Greater Cincinnati, we truly hope that you get everything you want this Holiday season!

Easterseals makes profound and positive differences in people's lives every day, is thanks in large part to strong partnerships throughout our community. Each month we will recognize an Easterseals Hero, an organization or person whose actions have gone above and beyond to further the purpose of Easterseals: changing the way the world views and defines disability by breaking down barriers to employment for people with disabilities, people facing disadvantages, and veterans.
