Workforce Development Specialist, Butler County Youth Services

Must be available to work varied hours including evenings and weekends at worksites located in multiple counties. Individual in this position will be responsible for training individuals with disabilities in community worksites that will change with each assignment by providing orientation and training, assisting with duties and job related issues, demonstrating job functions, assessing and identifying work strengths and weaknesses and making recommendations based on results of assessment. Assists individuals in completing work assignments if and when they are unable to independently perform tasks. Encourages and assists individuals by teaching job tasks, interpersonal skills, stress management, communication skills and other job related activities. Community Support Coach HOME Choice

Easterseals has a part-time position as a Community Support Coach with our HOME Choice program, in this position you will be responsible for implementation of Community Support Coaching and Independent Living Skills Training service lines of the HOME Choice program. These services provide support for HOME Choice participants who have or will be moving back into the community after at least a 90 day stay in the hospital, rehab facility or nursing home. Responsibilities may include assisting with food stamp applications, Social Security benefits, health insurance correspondence, budgeting, and transporting individuals in the community, finding community resources, organization skills and other various tasks and supports to empower successful community living.
