Path to Employment

Easterseals understands that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to matching people with a career. We provide an individualized approach to every person we work with, helping them to make informed choices and attain their employment aspirations. We serve veterans, people with disabilities, and people facing disadvantages or in need of a second chance. Learn more.

Veteran Employment

We are committed to a successful transition from active duty to civilian life. Job Developers work with veterans individually to translate military experience into a civilian resume, coach for interviews, and provide follow-up and mentoring after obtaining employment.

Skilled Trade Training Programs

By partnering with local companies and organizations, Easterseals offers paid, on-the-job training programs in construction and manufacturing. Participants gain industry-recognized certifications, and make valuable connections with prospective employers. Training opportunities are available for individuals as young as 17, and are open to those with educational or professional challenges including lack of GED, transient housing, or a criminal record. Youth Employment

Easterseals offers a variety of employment opportunities for younger adults ages 17-24. Programs include construction training, part-time employment, paid internships, skills training opportunities, job fairs, and more. To learn what programs you qualify for, call Debbie at 513-386-6851.

Our Businesses

There is no better way to ensure the employment readiness of the people we serve than by first employing them ourselves. These businesses also provide community and business solutions to Greater Cincinnati. Our paid employment training opportunities include construction, packaging and fulfillment, carpentry and woodworking, and visual art. Learn more.
