A supportive studio environment for artists with developmental disabilities. Artists receive individualized attention from staff and are exposed to a wide variety of high-quality mediums, allowing them to fully explore their creativity. Mediums include glass, clay, painting, mosaics, and other mixed media.
Adaptive equipment and teaching methods accommodate for each artist’s specific needs, allowing for the least restrictive studio environment. Our staff expose our artists to the works of well known artists, exhibitions and art history, and they are open to experimenting with any media that our artists would like to explore.
InsideOut Studio is supported through a partnership with the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities and Easterseals Serving Greater Cincinnati. Approximately 30 - 40 artists work in the studio on a consistent basis, several working independently. Artists are provided professional opportunities to exhibit and sell their work and each artist receive 50% of all their artworks sold, with the remaining 50% supporting further programming.
Over the past 10 years the studio has grown rapidly, including opening a retail store and moving the studio into the adjacent space. Now a part of a bustling business district, our artists continue to exhibit in galleries throughout the and have partnered with area business to exhibit artwork.
