Transitioning from military to civilian life can be tough. Easterseals is committed to local veterans, connecting them with the resources they need to find success in their civilian lives in an emergency, in finding employment, and in education and job training. Since 2014, Easterseals Veteran Services has delivered total benefits of $9.4 million dollars to local veterans.
Veteran Chris Macklin, celebrated in this 2014 video, was accepted to the Master of Science in Social Administration in the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University in the fall of 2016. His note of thanks filled our hearts with joy: "I wouldn't be able to do any of this without you and the Easterseals Program. I am forever grateful, and I will always advocate, and be there when you guys need me." We are so proud of his hard work and excited to see his bright future!
