Human Resources Assistant

We are seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The primary functions of the HRA are to complete bi-weekly payroll, maintain employee personnel files, and provide recruiting support. In this role, you will process bi-weekly payroll using Paychex Flex and ExpenseWire; assist with recruiting (coordinate interviews and conduct reference checks); onboard new employees (obtain background checks and complete new hire orientation); aid employees with enrolling in company benefits; maintain personnel files; and provide basic accounting support.

Associate’s degree in human resources, business management or related field preferred. Prior experience working with an electronic payroll system required. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, aptitude for accounting and technology, and attention to detail. Benefits eligible. EOE. Camp Director: Summer Day Camp (Lehigh Valley)

Join us at camp this summer and make a difference in the lives of campers with disabilities! Camp Lily is an innovative and exciting camp located in Center Valley, PA. The Camp Director will develop the curriculum, lead a team of counselors in its implementation, and provide leadership, mentoring and modeling of the skills needed to ensure each camper has a positive and successful experience. Camp runs from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, for six weeks beginning July 2 and ending August 10. An additional week prior to camp is required for training and preparation. Competitive wages. In this beautiful setting in the Pocono Mountains, you will support the needs of campers for six weeks (July 1 - August 10) with a few days prior for orientation. Weekly camp sessions run Sunday - Friday. Assist the Camp Director in implementing the curriculum and provide modeling of the skills needed to ensure each camper has a positive and successful experience. Private cottage provided. Community Support Specialists

Do you enjoy helping others reach their full potential? Join us as a Community Support Specialist and make a lasting impact in the lives of our consumers in the Lehigh Valley.

Easterseals Community Support Specialists play an integral role by supporting people with disabilities in a variety of community activities. This interaction assists in the development of meaningful social and job connections in the lives of individuals with disabilities. You will work one-on-one with individuals with special needs to achieve success in volunteer activities (food bank, animal shelters, libraries, etc.), recreational opportunities (art classes, cooking lessons, etc.) and career exploration (resume preparation, etc.).

A High School Diploma and prior experience supporting people with disabilities along with the ability to work in various community settings is required. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, have a valid driver’s license and have the use of a personal vehicle to transport consumers (mileage is reimbursed).

Starting wage is $12 per hour with an increase to $13 after 6 months and $14 after 1 year. An additional $250 bonus is available at one-year of employment.

PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant

We are in need of a part-time physical therapy assistant for our outpatient therapy department in Reading. The position is responsible for the implementing treatment plans in accordance with the patient plan of care and individualized needs, under the supervision of a credentialed physical therapist and for the completion of all necessary documentation. Must have graduated from a credentialed physical therapy assistant program and have a PA License. Clinical experience in a pediatric setting is preferred.
