Community Support Specialist - Lehigh Valley

We are looking for Part time staff to provide support for young adults with disabilities in an innovative summer program.  Specialists are responsible for assisting small groups of young adults in community activities such as volunteering, job shadowing, and accessing a variety of recreation opportunities.  This is a seasonal position from June 12 through July 21.

Must have at least 1 year experience working with people with disabilities or related fileds, ability to work independently and to maintain a professional appearance.  A High School diploma and a valid PA Driver's License, vehicle and appropriate insurance are required.

Camp Director: Summer Day Camp

Easter Seals Camp Lily is an innovative and exciting camp located in Center Valley.  Camp Lily campers participate in diverse activities from 9 to 3, Monday through Friday for seven weeks, July 3 - August 11. Candidate will develop the curriculum, lead a team of counselors in its implementation, and proved leadership, mentoring and modeling of the skills needed to ensure each camper has a positive and successful experience.  Competitive Wages.

A college degree in special education, psychology, occupational, speech, or physical therapy or related field is required as well as a desire to work with children and young adults with disabilities and other special needs.  Need to be CPR and first aid certified and have a drivers license.

Camp Director: Residential Camp

We have an opening for a Camp Director at our 6 week residential summer camp Growing Green in the scenic Pocono Mountains.  This position requires at least one year experience as a camp director, the ability to provide meaningful camp activities for children and adults with disabilities, and the desire to work as part of a team.  Competitive pay and training provided.  Must have at least one year experience supporting people with disabilities, a valid driver's license with appropriate vehicle insurance and clean driving record, high school diploma or GED, and at least 18 years of age.

Must have at least 1 year working in a residential camp setting and a desire to work with children and young adults with disabilities and other special needs.

We are recruiting for full-time Community Specialists to support people with disabilities in a variety of community activities such as volunteering, recreational opportunities and career preferences.  Community Specialists assist in the development of meaningful social and job connections in the lives of individuals with disabilities. 

A High School Diploma and at least one year experience supporting people with disabilities along with the ability to work in various community settings is required.  You must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant

We are in need of a part-time physical therapy assistant for our outpatient therapy department in Reading.  The position is responsible for the implementing treatment plans in accordance with the patient plan of care and individualized needs, under the supervision of a credentialed physical therapist and for the completion of all necessary documentation.  Must have graduated from a credentialed physical therapy assistant program and have a PA License.  Clinical experience in a pediatric setting is preferred.
