New therapeutic groups for children

Summer is a great time to build new skills so Easter Seals Eastern PA is offering three new therapeutic groups for children. The groups are led by our qualified physical and occupational therapists and speech pathologists who are experienced in working with young children with unique needs and abilities. Fine Motor Boot Camp
A small group program designed for the 4-7 year old child who is preparing for school and demonstrates a need for the development of their fine motor skills. Occupational therapy staff will provide fun and effective interventions to support your child’s development of school readiness skills, i.e. coloring, cutting and use of classroom tools. Payment: Insurance will be billed. Easter Seals accepts a number of insurance plans. Please inquire.

Lunch Bunch for the “Picky” Eater
Do you have a picky eater? Then this group is for you! This small group is designed for 4-8 year olds that are demonstrating difficulty with expanding their food preferences. This group will take a multisensory approach to expanding your child’s food choices and move towards independence at meal times. Payment: Insurance will be billed. Social Skills Enrichment Group
A small group program designed for the school-age child who has difficulty making or keeping friends and demonstrates limited play interests. Occupational therapy staff will provide fun and effective intervention to support your child’s social confidence and participation. Payment: Insurance will be billed.
