For Caregivers

Parents and caregivers of children and adults with disabilities with disabilities may find it challenging to navigate the system of programs and services. When deciding on the supports that are most beneficial for their children, parents and caregivers face an overwhelming number of questions and concerns. Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania would like to provide some assistance and guidance during this process. Please browse through the list of parent support groups that are listed below. Connecting with other parents can be helpful as a resource for education, advice, and support. If you are in need of services for your child follow the link for our programs to access information on supports for children and adults with disabilities.

In addition, PA211 is a statewide collaborative for health and human service information for Pennsylvanians. This easy-to-remember 2-1-1 phone number links Pennsylvania residents with human services throughout the state.

If you are concerned that your child’s development may not be progressing as expected, be sure to visit Make the First Five Count, a free screening program for children from birth through age 5 to identify potential developmental delays. If a delay is suspected, our team will help you connect with local resources that can help you find services that can help.
