Three fast-thinking staff members have been recognized by the Easterseals’ Region wide Health and Safety Committee for their heroic action, which contributed to saving the life of one of our participants in our New Castle center.

The Committee presented the “Easterseals Safety Recognition Award” to (pictured top right to left) Lindsey Andress, nurse in Adult Day Health Services (ADHS), Elvia Magana, a former ADHS Activity Assistant, now Receptionist in New Castle and Amy Johnson, an Activity Assistant, now working in Georgetown ADHS. The three immediately started CPR and used the AED on a participant in distress. Their quick action is credited with saving the life of the participant keeping her alive while awaiting the arrival of paramedics.

Congrats to Lindsey, Elvia and Amy!
