Sometimes we feel like Easterseals is a best-kept secret. Often people are familiar with our name, but unaware of the amazing range of services we offer for people with disabilities and seniors. Now more than ever, the challenges in the disability community are more complex and the definition of disability is broad, going beyond physical conditions to include invisible, emotional, social and educational challenges.
We know our brand must reflect today’s world and our role in it. That’s why we are excited with the decision by National Easterseals to launch a bold, modern look for our organization.
A new name, logo, tagline – and soon a new website, are some of the many features of our refreshed and invigorated brand which Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore will launch in 2017. You’ll notice our name is all one word now. Together, these changes represent a banner to lead us forward in changing the way the world views and defines disability.
You will see our fresh new brand take hold over the next year on our website, communications and our local centers. This whole new look was done to help introduce Easterseals to a new generation of families who need our services and a new generation of donors and volunteers. We can’t settle with being a best-kept secret anymore!
One thing we aren’t changing is who we help … or how we make a difference. We remain the vital resource for people living with disabilities, veterans, caregivers and families. But we can’t do it alone. It takes a team. Thank you for being part of our team! Keep an eye out for all of the new changes and help us create a new awareness of the incredible things that happen through Easterseals!
