Easterseals Welcomes New Board Members

Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently welcomed Pierre A. Anderson, of Wilmington, DE; Bryan Matthews, of Galena, MD; Frank “Skip” Pennella, of Chadds Ford, PA; and Brian Richards of Wilmington, DE, to its Board of Directors.

Anderson currently serves as the Vice President of Information Technologies at Artesian Resources Corporation, Inc, having responsibility for all technology functions of the organization. He has a background in the banking, education, and public utility industries. He holds a Master in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Information System & Technology Management from the University of Delaware and is a graduate of Delaware State University with Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

Matthews is a newly transitioned business executive, after 22 years serving as the Director of Athletics at Washington College. Previously a top-performing coaching and administrative professional with over thirty-six years of leadership experience and success in higher-education administration, coaching, team leadership, advising, and mentoring. He now holds the title of Vice President KRM Development Corporation. He holds a Doctor of Education degree from Wilmington College.

Pennella is a longtime supporter of Easterseals serving in a key role on the Volleyball Challenge Committee in charge of corporate development. He is the Director of External Affairs for CAI’s Delaware Valley Region. Pennella serves on a number of boards including: Chairman of the board of directors for the Grand Opera House and a member of the board of directors for Christiana Care Health System. He holds a M.B.A. in Management from Fordham University and is a graduate of the Advanced Human Resources Program at Penn State University.

As the Vice President of Commercial Lending at M&T Bank, Richards helps clients succeed through tailored financial solutions. His background is in finance and has held many high-level positions throughout the years. He holds a B.A. from the University of Delaware and continued on to receive his M.B.A. in Management from the University of Delaware.
