Easterseals Receives $30,000 Grant from Bank of America

Easterseals of Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore announced that it has received a $30,000 grant from Bank of America for its Supported Employment services, which help individuals with intellectual disabilities work in the community.

“Easterseals is pleased to partner with Bank of America to ensure that people with intellectual disabilities find meaningful work earning competitive wages,” Easterseals President/CEO, Kenan Sklenar, says. “Easterseals Supported Employment services supports people with disabilities in our community by helping them meet their full potential.”

Easterseals’ Supported Employment services provide participants with professional skills training, job search guidance and ongoing coaching to help them secure and manage successful employment with local organizations. Bank of America’s support for these services is part of its larger commitment to building a diverse workforce throughout Delaware.
