Easter Seals Welcomes New Board Member

Easter Seals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently welcomed Rotary District Governor, Clif Hutton, of Dover; to its Board of Directors.

Hutton is District Governor for Rotary District 7630. He is now retired after a long career in teaching, counseling, coaching and administration. His career includes working for the State Department of Education in many roles, but ending with the State Director of Student, Family and School Services. He also filled his time with teaching graduate classes at the University of Delaware and Wilmington University. He initiated a number of programs including: the high school Career Guidance and Placement Program, Jobs for Delaware Graduates program and designed the master degree program in school counseling at Wilmington University. He served for the U.S. Army and Army reserves for eight years.

Hutton has been involved with Rotary since he received a four-year scholarship from the Rotary club in his home town. Since then he joined the Camden-Wyoming club in 1990 and served as the district scholarship chair for 14 years. Currently, he is a member of the district Awards and Recognition committee. He and his wife, Marie, have been married for 38 years. He has two sons, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
