Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge Raises Over $170,000

New Castle, DEEasterseals Delaware & Maryland's Eastern Shore recognizes the following top fundraising team and individual in the 2023 Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge who helped raise over $170,000 for people with disabilities and their families. A special thanks to the 2023 Ambassadors, Carolyn Jerzak and her family.

Raising over $29,000, the Leadership Delaware team, Legacy ’23, earned the top  team prize of 10 tickets to a Philadelphia Eagles game in a suite donated by Barclays or Barclays Bank?. Easterseals also recognizes the top individual fundraising efforts of Julia Hensley of Middletown, DE. This year, Hensley raised $10,456 bringing her total 16-year tally to $107,416.

“The critically needed dollars raised in the Volleyball Challenge help ensure that Easterseals will continue to play a crucial role in serving thousands of individuals with disabilities and their families in our community,” Easterseals President/CEO, Kenan Sklenar, said. “Thank you to everyone for supporting us as we continue our mission of inclusion and independence for all individuals of all abilities.”
