On October 12, 2017, Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore will recognize a treasured volunteer, Board Member and advocate for people with disabilities, John Riley, at our Annual Dinner at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington. The evening’s activities will include an opening social hour at 5:30 p.m., with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, dinner at 6:30 p.m. and a program at 7:30 p.m., including testimonials from Easterseals clients.
John Riley will be recognized with the Drex Jones Award, an award given to an individual in recognition of their outstanding volunteerism on behalf of children and adults with disabilities in our region. John’s dedication to the Easterseals mission is rooted in his personal understanding of the importance of Easterseals services to the individuals and families who need them.
The theme of our dinner this year is “Act”. We are extending the invitation to our guests and community to act on behalf of those we serve by volunteering, advocating, donating and participating in events that inspire us all and sustain our cause.
Community support is important so Easterseals can continue to provide life-changing services to children like Journey who received Early Intervention and children’s therapy services from Easterseals. Read more about Journey here.
