Helping people with disabilities is what we do at Easter Seals, but we can't do it alone. One way to get involved is to participate in an Easter Seals event. Put together a volleyball team, sit on an event-planning committee, or pitch in on-site at the event -- there's something for everyone. Visit this site often for updated information on events in your area.
Another way to support people with disabilities is to volunteer your time, talent or expertise. Learn more here about volunteer opportunities.
Easterseals is happy to announce a partnership between the Milford Library and Bear Library that will enable Easterseals to reach even more caregivers! The two libraries will offer new locations for the Savvy Caregiver Classes, a series that supports and educates caregivers of those who are living with Alzheimer’s or dementia. The classes will be held four consecutive Wednesdays at each location and registration is required.

Educating Communities on Medicare Fraud
With the new Medicare card arriving this Spring, the risk for Medicare related fraud has become increasingly high. The Delaware Senior Medicare Patrol is on a mission to raise awareness about some of the tactics being used to scam seniors into giving out their personal information, as well as provide effective tips on safeguarding that information.
Join us at Easterseals to discover more about how to protect yourself and your loved one(s) from potential scams, and how to combat Medicare Fraud.
