Shannon has been with Easter Seals since 2008.  Her previous work experience includes working as an inpatient and outpatient pediatric physical therapist at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.  Shannon's continuing education incudes early intervention courses and Sonia Sumer's yoga for children with special needs.  She completed Mary Massery's "If You Can't Breathe, You Can't Function" course, and neuromuscular electrial simulation.

Shannon has also completed specialize courses for the pediatric population, including updates in pediatric orthotics, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, yoga and pilates for children with special needs, and kinesiotaping.  She assists with providing clinical education to physical therapy students.


Shannon provides pediatric training and rehabilitation services for children with a variety of developmental delays and disabilities including, but not limited to:  intellectual disability, Down syndrome, autism, Cerebral palsy, torticollis, hypotonia, and Spina bifida.
