Michelle is a licensed physical therapist. She founded the Animal Assisted Therapy program at Easter Seals in 2012, and is a part of the animal assisted therapy, orthotics, and aquatic therapy teams. Michelle has continuing education in aquatic therapy, orthotics, neuromuscular electrical stimulation for premature infants, and early intervention evaluation and treatment. She is a clinical educator for physical therapy students.
Michelle provides pediatric therapy and rehabilitation services for children with a variety of developmental delays and disabilities including, but not limited to: intellectual disability, Down syndrome, autism, Cerebral palsy, hypotonia, torticollis, and Spina bifida. She has specific training in orthotics and serial casting, assistive technology, adaptive equipment, animal-assisted therapy, aquatic therapy, gait analysis, and neuromuscular electrical simulation.
