Prior to attending graduate school, Jamie was a behavioral therapist for the Wisconsin Early Autism Project where she supervised and provided a wide range of therapy services for children and teens with autism, including social skills, behavioral, academic, language, counseling, and play skills. Upon completing her graduate work, she worked for the Southern Illinois Healthcare Hospitals providing services for patients in the areas of speech, language, voice, communication, rehabilitation, and swallowing.
Jamie relocated to Bloomington-Normal and joined the Easter Seals team in 2011. Her pediatric experience includes evaluating and treating patients with a wide variety of speech, voice, fluency, and language disorders. She is an Autism Spectrum Disorder Diagnostic team member. Jamie is currently pursuing the certification process to become a Lactation Consultant.
Jamie provides pediatric therapy and rehabilitation services for children with a variety of developmental delays and disabilities including, but not limited to: intellectual disability, Down syndrome, autism, Cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, and specific language impairment.
