Screening and Counseling Services for Infants/Toddlers, School-Age Children, Young Adults, and Their Families, who are coping with developmental delays, disabilities, and/or medically complex issues.
Caring for children of all ages is a tough job, however many children, youth, and adults with disabilities face special challenges. They may experience fears about the future, poor self-esteem, and difficulty coping with their disability. Many parents of children with disabilities also experience very unique challenges related to managing their child’s development and behavior. Counselors at the Easter Seals can help individuals focus on their abilities, learn positive coping methods, improve challenging parenting tasks, and enhance social and behavioral skills in a comfortable and fun environment.
Our Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors have experience providing services for individuals between the ages of 0 and 18 years of age.
