In 1919, Rotarian Edgar Allen founded Easter Seals as a Rotary project. The Lodge at Timber Pointe is the newest endeavor sponsored by the four Bloomington-Normal Rotary groups and the Timber Pointe Charitable Foundation. The Lodge at Timber Pointe was built to support programs and services for a broad range of groups served by Timber Pointe year round. Dozens of volunteers have worked statewide for years to raise money for this project.
Overlooking Lake Bloomington, the Lodge is a 16,000 square foot structure with a main floor and a walk-out basement. It includes:
The Lodge at Timber Pointe is also perfect for weddings, retreats, conferences and other activities. The main floor has a vaulted ceiling, a 20-person conference room, a wood burning fireplace and seats 320 people at round tables. There is also a full-length deck from the main floor. The lower level seats 278 people at round tables and has a walk-out patio with fireplace. Seating arrangements can be customized to fit your needs, and Timber Pointe offers other optional services.
