Applied Behavior Analysis

Applied behavior analysis is a therapy based on the science of learning and behavior that aims to decrease socially significant challenging behavior and teach functionally appropriate alternatives for each individual. ABA is a validated approach that uses evidence-based interventions to target meaningful change based on your child’s and your family’s individual needs, and utilizes specific data collection procedures to make individualized treatment decisions based on your child’s response to interventions and progress. An evaluation by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is completed to determine a treatment plan including intensity of services, goals for the client, appropriate location for services, and behavioral strategies to address challenging behavior.
