Susan’s passion for social work stems from her background in education. As a teacher, she found herself drawn to troubled students. Inspired to help students on a greater level, she became a certified child and adolescent psychotherapist, licensed clinical social worker, and licensed clinical therapist. She went on to spend much of her career conducting psychotherapy on both children and adults.
Today, Susan’s career revolves around her charitable endeavors. She is a pro bono supervisor of social workers in charter schools in Chicago, and actively involved with the Jewish United Fund and the Jewish Vocational Service. Susan is also a strong advocate for the emotional growth and development of students in the underserved areas of Chicago. Her efforts are supported by her effective relationship-building skills.
