From 1983 to 2001, Nuccio built Sbarro’s restaurants from a $100M to a $500M organization as Regional Vice President. In 2001, he purchased Vince’s Italian Restaurant; Harwood Heights, IL after having worked his way up to management from dishwasher from 1982 until 1985. 

As of 2007 Nuccio owns two additional restaurants:  Roccovino’s in Carol Stream, IL and Elk Grove, IL with his partner Rocco DeFrenza.

Following the autism diagnosis of his son, Enzo, Nuccio became actively involved with Easterseals to help other children with autism. He pledged to raise $100,000 for a playground for Easterseals Academy. He hosts annual benefits at his restaurant in Harwood Heights to “Help Enzo Build a School” raising over $39,000 in its first two years for the new school and research center. Nuccio is very generous in his donations to Easterseals and is a Presidents’ Council member.

—Nuccio is featured in the Fall, 2006 issue of the Amici journal with Joe Mantegna, as Easterseals Capital Campaign Spokesman. He is an —Italian American community leader and respecter of people at all walks of life since having worked way up from dishwasher.

—Nuccio also serves on the board at the Salvation Army's Citadel Norridge, IL. He received proclamation from Village of Harwood Heights January, 2007 in honor of his service in the Harwood Heights and autism communities. In his spare time, Nuccio mentors at Ridgewood High School Norridge, IL.

—Each year he provides food at Relay for Life with his business partner for the participants raising money to fight cancer.

Nuccio was born in Italy and became a Citizen of the United States. He is also a member of Harwood Heights Chamber of Commerce.
