Fidel Marquez Jr. is the Senior Vice President, Legislative and External Affairs and Chief Governmental and Community Relations Officer for ComEd. Fidel is responsible for the overall leadership of ComEd’s legislative affairs in the State of Illinois, relationship management with the City of Chicago and over 400 municipalities, large commercial and industrial customers and community and civic organizations in northern Illinois. In addition, Marquez is responsible for leading ComEd’s economic development strategy.
A licensed professional engineer, Marquez received his master’s in business administration from Northwestern University. He also received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Marquez is also a member of the Board of Trustees for BUILD, Inc; the National Museum of Mexican Art; Luna Negra Dance Theater.
